Hamilton Wood Type's WayzGoose is a type festival that takes place in Wisconsin annually. This event showcases various speakers who share their stories and give advice to event attendees. I was given directions to design a brochure for the event in my advanced typography class who was taught by one of the speakers, Bill Moran. One of my biggest struggles for this project was getting the identity for WayzGoose to be more cohesive through their signs and advertising. The biggest thing about it was getting the typography to have the same amount of weight no matter where it appeared. My solution to that issue was creating a logo with one font, and having one secondary font that has multiple stroke weights.
